Prof. Nalini Moodley is currently the Executive Dean and Associate Professor in the Faculty of Arts and Design at the Tshwane University of Technology, South Africa. She holds a PhD in Art History focused on the visual arts produced by South Africans of Indian ancestry and an MBA in Higher Education Management. Her research explores minority politics, race, and identity in post-apartheid South Africa, with an emphasis on Indian experiences. She also publishes on Hindu art, Indian dance, and South African identities. She is also currently the 2024 winner of the Women in Academic Administration Award in South Africa among the 26 public universities.
