Ms. Simona Olaru-Poșiar is currently a PhD Lecturer at “Victor Babeș” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timișoara. She is also a clinical psychologist and a member of the Romanian College of Psychology, member of The Romanian German Society, and of The Centre of Applied Linguistics and Comparative Cultural Studies. Her research interests involve the areas of German and English Literature, as well as psychology and art. She is the author of the 1st therapeutic journal written by over 500 students in medicine and the 1st study in Europe on German writers suffering from mental illnesses. Within the extracurricular activities organized by the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timisoara, she is a cultural mediator and organizer of the art workshops Live @ the Museum, which aim to familiarize medical students with the artistic and cultural environment.
