Ms. Saima Najib Chaudry is an English lecturer currently residing in Lahore. Over the years, she has taught the following courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students: The Twentieth-century English novel, Nineteenth-century English novel, Modern and Absurd Drama, Literary Theory, Literary Criticism, Methods of Literary Research and Non-fiction Prose. Her research interests include: trauma in contemporary fiction, gender and race, and the depiction of madness and shame in 20th century novel. She has an MPhil in English Literature and am currently teaching English at Government Associate College for Women, Data Nagar, Lahore. In March 2022, She virtually participated in and presented two papers at NeMLA (The Northeast Modern Language Association). These papers were entitled, “Forgiving Oneself: An Exploration of the Dynamics of Survivor’s Guilt in Gunter Grass’s Crabwalk” and “Redefining Insanity: The Transformative Role of Madness in Bram Stoker’s Dracula.”
